Room 1 has a little story to tell. It was built around 180 years ago and many decades ago a Tunisian guitar maker lived in this room. He made the guitars in house, in a small space that is now our storage/tool room. We got to know this story from our neighbor and friend Ganni, the blacksmith, after we moved in.
It features beautiful original stone work & wooden beams. It’s a spacious double room equipped with a double bed, table/chair, plus an antique cane sofa set. And most importantly for the hot Maltese summer months, a very effective ceiling fan will keep you cool. Also, the roof of this room is covered with solar panels, which helps greatly to keep the heat at bay.
Attached to the room is a simple but private shower room / WC. 1990’s design will welcome you in this small space.
The price for the room per night is EUR 80.00.
